NE*ASSP Home

The New England Association of Service & Support Professionals is a vibrant community of local managers who support the customers' use of products. While most member companies have a technology focus, the common theme is customer support regardless of the type of product. Our membership also includes technology vendors and consultants who help service organizations achieve their business objectives.

We are the local chapter of the Association of Support Professionals and the Minuteman Chapter of the Association For Service Management (AFSM). We hold about a half dozen meetings each year -- many in conjunction with a sister organization, the New England chapter of the Help Desk Institute. We are also inviting members of the Customer Care Institute from the area to our meetings also

NE*ASSP serves as a forum for professional networking and development. Our meetings are held in various locations around Greater Boston. Other types of events are in the works. Members, guests, and non-members are always welcome to attend our events.

Our primary means of delivering this value is through local chapter meetings at which we typically have local experts -- typically practicing managers -- speak on a topic. The range of these topics includes:

Support center management, including call center management

Field service delivery

Service marketing

Service business development

Knowledge management

Life cycle service management

Service optimization

Strategic role of support service organizations

Logistics management

Customer satisfaction measurement and management

Since our members are located (primarily) throughout eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, we hold our meetings in various locations, typically,

MetroWest

Northern Mass

If you have a meeting room whose use you like to volunteer for the meeting, please let us know! The room should accommodate about 50 people. Most of our meetings are held at the end of the workday from 4:30 to 6 pm or are dinner meetings.
